Impellers are typically fabricated and not cast, and provided with 316Lss, 20Ra polish, and often electropolished and passivated. Profilometer Ra readings provided upon request. We are happy to quote any custom fabricated impeller whether its for one of our agitators or for a mixer you already have. Shaft/impeller assembly rework and balancing are also available.

    What about CIP on mixing impellers?
    Most mixing impellers are not easily spray ball cleaned, especially the underside of the blades. We offer impeller designs to CIP clean without flooding, the CIP fluid washes the blade underside and eliminates CIP shadow. By using a tapered tailing edge and proper blade curves, we create an axial flow pattern with uniform velocity along the length of blade bottom. Impellers can be self draining.

    Top entry mixers and agitators are readily available from WMProcess with ANSI flanges and TC Tri Clamp connections. Mixers can be configured with a simple Class 150 Ansi Flange for mounting to your tank, and can also include a lip seal, stuffing box and packing, or mechanical seal to suit. Flanged agitator connections are available in stainless steel and other materials. Mixing tanks are available if you need a complete mix tank package.

    The WMP Series 770 mixer are large top entry batch style mixers-agitators. These top entry mixers have a low headroom 90° right angle gear reducer and mount via flange (plate mount or ansi style flange). These mixers are heavy duty, and engineered to handle large volumes and more viscous difficult mixing applications so we can blend large batches of materials.
