Carboy Cleaning and Rinsing System
Carboys and portable tanks are used extensively in biopharma production and for mixing/blending/storage of liquid mixtures. WMProcess offers a variety of COP clean out of place carboy cleaning and rinsing systems to safely, quickly, and effectively clean and sterilize carboys and process vessels. Systems are available in simple manual operation with spray balls, or automated PLC driven cleaning system with pumps, instruments, and alternative spray nozzle devices to suit the cleaning requirements.

WMP offers large scale tank agitators, top entry mixers and turbine agitators for open and closed vessels. Open vessel agitators are usually mounted on a bridge which we can supply, and closed tank mixers come with ANSI flanges or TC Tri Clamp connections. Any mixer mechanical seal is available including lip seal, packing, single mechanical seal, double mechanical seal, mixer seal debris wells, etc.
We do offer extensive scale up and scale down technical details and pay very close attention to mixer sizing on large scale tanks and fermenters. CFD and lab testing are often used in the sizing process for complicated mixing processes.
